Microbe Lift Nite Out - Nitrifying Bacteria

Microbe-Lift Nitrifying Bacteria establishes, promotes, stabilizes, and maintains nitrification in your aquaponic system, aquarium, or pond. Nitrifying bacteria are essential for a safe aquatic environment, keeping your system working properly from cycling startup onward.

How It Works

Jumpstart the cycling process. Microbe-Lift is a specialized collection of beneficial bacteria cultures formulated to eliminate ammonia through nitrification. It contains select strains of Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira, and Nitrobacter: Nitrosomonas convert ammonia to nitrite, and Nitrobacter and Nitrospira convert nitrite to nitrate.

Dosage

• New tanks: add 1 tsp per 10 gallons every other day until the ammonia level is acceptable.
• Established tanks: add 1 tsp per 10 gallons after every partial water change and every time new fish are added.

Note: Nitrifying bacteria must be kept above freezing (32°F).
