Purify your water source simply and effectively! Chloramines, chlorine, iron, hydrogen sulfide and heavy metals don’t stand a chance against Hydrologic’s filtration media.  For use in purifying source water before topping off your aquaponic system. When your system naturally loses water from evaporation and transpiration, the SmallBoy water filter can be connected to an optional float valve for automatic, hands-free water level replenishment.

Hydrologic Small Boy With Sediment & Carbon Filter

The Hydrologic Small Boy Filter reduces up to 99% chlorine, sediment, rust, silt, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), mercury, lead, and PCBs (organic chlorine), keeping beneficial bacteria and microorganisms alive and healthy. In aquaponic systems, the SmallBoy filter would be connected to your source water and used as top-off water to replenish water loss.

The Hydrologic SmallBoy Filter can filter approximately 3,000-gallons of water before requiring a filter replacement.

• High flow rate of 60 gallons per hour
• Rated at 1 GPM (gallons per minute)
• Included filters: Sediment & Coconut Carbon Filter in the box for quick hook-up and plug & play performance
• Float Valve not included but available as an upgrade.
