These high-quality reagents are pre-measured, allowing users to achieve fast and accurate colorimetric measurements. These reagents follow the adaptation of the USEPA method 315B and standard method 3500-FeB. This method requires reagents that contains both reducing and complexing agent. The reagent, when added to an iron containing sample will turn the sample to an orange hue.(the greater the concentration, the deeper the color) The intensity of the color is determined by a compatible photometer and the concentration and based upon the meter will be displayed in mg/L (ppm) as total iron. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.00 to 5.00 ppm iron.These reagents are manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility and are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date on each packet for traceablility.
