The Flourish Fish Farm 600 is a 600 gallon recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) designed as a turn-key fish farm for small scale aquaculture. The system can also combine with the optional plant sump and mineralization tank for use in aquaponics. This is an extremely flexible system which allows you to operate the RAS as a coupled aquaponic system with your plants, or as a standalone decoupled aquaculture system.

How it Works

First, when the 600 gallon recirculating aquaculture system is decoupled from the plants, water will flow from the fish tanks to the fish sump
Then, clean water returns to the fish through an Endurance Bead Filter. Above all, the Endurance Bead filter is both a mechanical filter and biological filter!
When coupled to your plant system, fish system water flows through the hydroponic plant system, providing nutrients.
In order to couple the system, a water pump moves water between the plant sump and your plant system
Coupled with the plant system, fish solids removed from the filter can be naturally mineralized and converted to plant nutrients in the Aerobic Digester tank
The Aerobic Digester is connected to the plant sump. Simply open the valve to give your plants a nutrient boost. Nothing gets wasted!
Lastly, the system is designed to never discard any water. For instance, all water is recaptured from the fish solids and introduced into your hydroponic system, or used as nutrients for outdoor crops.

Dimensions

Fish tank heights are 33″ above the floor. All components will fit through standard doorways.

What’s Not Included

The Flourish Fish Farm 600 includes all internal plumbing components and premade assemblies. However, due to shipping constraints, we can not ship the external PVC stick pipe required to connect the system together. Stick PVC is required and must be purchased and picked up separately. Below are the sizes and recommended quantities.
